Perfusionist - Monterey, CA

Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) is seeking a full-time Clinical Perfusionist to join our dynamic and collaborative cardiac surgery team. Located along the beautiful California coastline, CHOMP offers a unique opportunity to practice high-quality perfusion in a relaxed, lifestyle-friendly environment.

This role is ideal for a perfusionist looking to combine clinical excellence with exceptional work-life balance, all while living in one of the most desirable coastal communities in the country. Take part in a two person team, covering two surgeons.

Provide perfusion services for adult cardiac surgery, including:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
• Valve procedures

·  Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass circuits

·  Support intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) cases

·  Maintain patient safety and adhere to all clinical protocols and standards

·  Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff

·  Participate in call rotation as assigned

·  Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential required

• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)

·  Strong clinical foundation in adult cardiac perfusion

·  Excellent communication and teamwork skills
