Overview

Integration Health is seeking a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) to join a well-established cardiac surgery program on the California coast.  This role offers a strong balance of clinical excellence, predictable scheduling, and lifestyle flexibility – ideal for perfusionists looking to step into a stable, high-quality program.

Responsibilities

·      Provide perfusion support for adult cardiac cases including:

o   CABG’s (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)

o   Valve procedures

o   Robotic cases

o   Aortic Aneurysm/ Dissection Repairs

o   Standby for TAVR, TEER, Mitral Clip cases

o   VV ECMO and VA ECMO

·      Manage Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) support

·      Operate and maintain cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) equipment

·      Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams

·      Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality perfusion delivery

Case Mix

·      Adult cardiac surgery program

·      CABG, Valve, Aneurysm/Dissection, Standby, and ECMO cases

Schedule

·      Full-Time

·      Approximately 33% - 50% call rotation

·      Low callback frequency

·      Cover mainly one hospital with occasional help at another hospital

Qualifications

·      Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)

·      Certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)

·      Experience with adult cardiac cases preferred

·      Strong communication and team collaboration skills
